Why the Screen app is the one to have
Plenty of things can put a picture on your glasses. Very few let you work.
Cropped, named cards — not one flat mirror. Watch four different
corners of your desktop at once and flip between them.
You can control the computer back. Move the cursor, click, and type
from the glasses. Nothing else in this category does that.
Phones too, not just computers. Cast from the phone in your pocket.
It stays up. Half an hour a session on the free tier, and no limit
at all on Gold.
Getting it onto your glasses
Meta hasn't opened a public app store for the Display yet, so every app —
ours and everyone else's — installs by link. It's quick, and it sticks.
Open the Meta AI app on your phone and go to
Settings → App Info.
Tap the app version number five times. A Developer Mode switch appears.
Turn it on. You only ever do this once.
Come back here on that phone and tap Add Farglance to your glasses.
Farglance appears at the bottom of the app grid on your glasses.
Look at the glasses, open Farglance, and follow the three-step setup.
You'll need glasses software v125+ and Meta AI app v272+.
